Zachary's introduction to industrial maintenance began long before he could spell half the equipment he was learning about. At seven, his father Frederick was teaching him about capacitors, electrical testing and mechanical troubleshooting.
Frederick owned a boilermaker outfit working in refineries, power plants and paper mills. An engineer and natural problem solver, he was the kind of man who could probably build a power plant by rubbing two sticks together — then ask why you needed both sticks.

Zachary remembers winning exactly one thing growing up: a fishing contest at age nine. Somehow, he caught the biggest fish. To this day, he suspects his father cheated. Not because he has proof — just because a kid who barely knew what he was doing had no business out-fishing everybody else.
That upbringing became the foundation for a career in industrial maintenance, recycling operations, equipment reliability and continuous improvement. Today, Zachary combines hands-on mechanical ingenuity with modern automation, engineering solutions and AI through Recycling Worx LLC.
The machines got bigger. The problems got more expensive. The tools got smarter. But the philosophy stayed the same: Find the problem. Understand the problem. Build the solution.
